The 2004 NOSOVE meeting in Denmark
Subject Analyses of repeated measures and hierarchical data by use of Mixed Models

The "Borrevejle Centret" is located only 45 km from the center of Copenhagen. From the airport there is only a 30 minute train ride to Roskilde Station. from Roskilde station Taxis are probably the preferable transport. (Distance 12.2 km).
 
The "Borrevejle Centret" is situated in a recreational area known for it's natural beauty, close to Roskilde Fjord and near the historic centre of Lejre.
 
Price The price is 4400 DKr for room, food and course materials. Lodging is in double rooms.

Program The course is an equal mix of lectures and practical computer exercises. The program can be found here
Target group Ph.D.-students, researchers and others working with analyses of data with repeated measures and/or a hierarchical structure
Prerequisites We recommend that participants have a working theoretical and practical knowledge of multiple linear regression and logistic regression, and we further recommend participants to be familiar  with the statistical package SAS (because no introductory sessions for SAS are included in the course). The computer exercises will use SAS Version 8.2. Participants are required to bring their own laptops. If SAS 8.2 is not on the computers, a copy will be installed for use in the course only.

Additional Information The course materials include handouts of slides, exercises and SAS-code for the exercises. The course will be based on the newly published book "Veterinary Epidemiologic Research" by  Ian Dohoo, Wayne Martin & Henrik Stryhn. This book is not included in the course fee. The course can be followed without the book, but for those wishing to obtain a copy, details can be found here
